The free WiFi throughout the property was a great bonus for staying connected while on vacation. the cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped with a DVD player, oven, and dining area, providing all the comforts of home. the one bathroom with a shower was clean and modern, perfect for freshening up after a day of sightseeing. The location of the cottage was ideal for exploring popular attractions like Lake Windermere, Derwentwater, and Muncaster Castle, all within a short drive away. Being 80 km away from Carlisle Lake District allowed for a scenic road trip through the stunning countryside. Overall, my stay at Ghyll Foot Cottage was enjoyable and convenient, providing a comfortable base for my adventures in the Lake District. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Cumbria.
